Brooks Pierce Partner Admitted as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America
Brooks Pierce partner Arty Bolick was recently selected as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA), an invitation-only international honorary association of lawyers in construction and related practices.
The CLSA dedicates itself to promoting superior advocacy and ethical standards in construction law, fostering a scholarly sharing of ideas amongst practitioners. Lawyers are only invited into Fellowship with the CLSA after establishing a proven track record of excellence and accomplishment in construction law at both the trial and appellate levels. Fellows in the CLSA are generally at the partner level in their respective firms, and have established exceptional ethical and professional reputations.
“I am honored at the invitation,” said Bolick. “The CLSA is highly selective of its Fellows, and it is a privilege to be counted among the leading construction lawyers in the world.”
Bolick is an experienced litigator and construction lawyer who represents clients in every phase of commercial and industrial construction projects. He is a certified mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. Bolick is the immediate past chairman of the Construction Professionals Network Institute, the nonprofit arm of the Construction Professionals Network. He chaired the Construction Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association from 2012-2013. Bolick received both his law degree and his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
