Brooks Pierce's Response to COVID-19

To our valued clients and friends of the firm:

It is now self-evident that all of us have been impacted by COVID-19. The statement that “we are all in this together” has never been more applicable than now. We hope that you and your family, friends, and colleagues are safe and well, and we are certain that with shared commitment to one another and the needs of our community we will get through this extraordinary time.

Like so many of you, Brooks Pierce has been closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19. As part of our community, we want you to know that we have taken steps to ensure continuity and service while protecting the health and safety of our colleagues, clients, and peers.

We have technological resources that enable us to serve our clients no matter where they or we are working. Many of our attorneys and staff are already working remotely, but we can all be reached through our Brooks Pierce email addresses and phone numbers. To help with efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, we expect that our three offices will remain open with limited staff. We do not intend to host large events or meetings except through video conference or teleconference. We are confident that there will be no disruption in the high quality of service we provide.

We know COVID-19 has created problems and confusion, and many organizations are wondering how to navigate this new environment. Brooks Pierce has formed a COVID-19 Response Team to provide efficient guidance. To learn more, please go to our COVID-19 Response Resources page. There you will find guides to help you spot issues, contact information for experienced professionals, and materials that we have already published in anticipation of client needs.

As more information becomes available, our lawyers will respond and our website’s content will evolve. Our attorneys will be ready to assist with a variety of COVID-19-related issues, including those arising in the contexts of labor and employment, contracts, real estate, data privacy, health care, and business disruption.

Thank you for your support as we overcome these challenges together. If we can assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.
