Brooks Pierce partner and Greensboro City Councilman Justin Outling will speak at the Arch MI Black Professionals Employee Resource Group’s Black History Month event on Feb. 7. The event will take place at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in downtown Greensboro. Outling will discuss how he got started in politics and how he overcame obstacles to achieve success in both his political and legal careers.
Outling, who focuses his practice on business litigation and white-collar criminal defense, helps businesses and professionals across a variety of industries with matters such as breach of contract, unfair competition and trade practices, fraud, shareholder disputes and commercial financing. A Greensboro City Councilman since 2015, he was named to the Greensboro News & Record’s “Top 20 People of Influence” in 2017 and the Triad Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under 40” in 2016.
