Brooks Pierce Partner Authors Article for North Carolina Bar Association Blog
Brooks Pierce partner Kim Marston recently published an article on the North Carolina Bar Association blog providing tips for being an effective advocate in remote proceedings.
The article, “Remote Advocacy – Tips for Success,” discusses some of the difficulties associated with using video technology, such as audio-visual delays and distractions. Marston also provides several tips for minimizing these “digital drawbacks” and presenting your best self.
Marston litigates contract and commercial disputes, including unfair trade practices and breach of fiduciary duty claims, on behalf of businesses and professionals in all levels of state and federal courts, including the North Carolina Business Court.
