Shana Fulton Appointed to the North Carolina Bar Association Minorities in the Profession Committee

Brooks Pierce attorney Shana Fulton was recently appointed to the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) Minorities in the Profession Committee (MIP) for 2020-2021.

The MIP is dedicated to increasing the presence of minorities in the legal profession as well as expanding their educational opportunities and quality of life. The MIP also seeks to provide information regarding issues of concern to minority lawyers and educating the public about the contributions of North Carolina’s minority lawyers.

Fulton represents businesses and individuals in criminal and civil litigation, under government investigation or in conducting internal investigations. As a defense attorney and former Assistant U.S. Attorney, she has experience litigating and investigating high-profile and complex matters at all levels of federal and state trial courts. She is actively involved in the community, including serving on the NCBA’s Section Council for the Antitrust and Complex Business Disputes Section, participating as a member of the Growing Environmental & Conservation Leaders of Color and the Women’s White Collar Defense Association.
