Will Quick Elected to NCBA Litigation Section Council

06.28.2018

Brooks Pierce attorney Will Quick was recently elected to the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Litigation Section Council at the association’s annual meeting on June 22. Quick will serve a three-year term.

The NCBA’s practice-specific sections allow attorneys to discuss issues, procedures and best practices with other attorneys focusing on the same areas of law. The Litigation Section includes lawyers with a substantial portion of their practice in civil litigation at the state or federal level. The Section Council is at the forefront of addressing issues that affect the practice of litigation, including changes in rules and statutes affecting civil litigation and the rules of ethical procedure that impact litigators.

Quick focuses his practice on complex business litigation, data privacy and municipal law. He represents businesses and local governments in a wide variety of trial and appellate matters and before state agencies in North Carolina and South Carolina. He also serves as the administrative division director for the NCBA Young Lawyers Division and has previously served as co-chair of the NCBA Litigation Section Pro Bono Committee and as division director of the NCBA Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division.
