Amanda Hawkins represents businesses and individuals at all levels of state and federal courts, as well as in regulatory proceedings. She uses her experience as a law clerk to inform her litigation strategy and assist clients in all stages of litigation.
My Practices
Amanda has significant experience litigating complex, high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court. Amanda’s experience allows her to advise and represent clients at all stages of litigation, from drafting and responding to complaints, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and representing clients on appeal.
Drawing on her experience as a law clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court, Amanda advises clients as to appellate strategy at all stages of litigation. Clients benefit from Amanda’s deep understanding of legal research, persuasive writing, and strategic analysis.
Amanda helps clients navigate the complex landscape of utility regulation. Amanda has experience advising clients on matters of regulatory compliance, as well as representing clients at hearings before the North Carolina Utilities Commission and in subsequent appellate proceedings.
